Meet the Winnetka Board.
We believe that with knowledge, opportunities, and support, we can disrupt generational poverty.
The Winnetka Board, an Auxiliary Board of the Northwestern Settlement, is a group of 30+ women dedicated to serving the needs of the Settlement community.
Our members provide support in the early childhood development program, tutor elementary students, volunteer in the food bank, and provide holiday support.
The funds raised by the Winnetka Board play a pivotal role in supporting these programs.
Together, we support the Northwestern Settlement.
About the Northwestern Settlement:
Northwestern Settlement is a dynamic and innovative leader in creating transformational opportunities for children and families to disrupt generational poverty.
We firmly believe that each succeeding generation should be better educated, more financially secure, and empowered to set and reach aspirational goals.
Since 1891, this has been the Settlement’s foundational purpose. The mission is to disrupt generational poverty by supporting, preparing, and empowering young people at distinct stage of life to break down barriers on their path to success in adulthood.
Get involved.
